How does our music service for gyms work?
To use FreeMusix, you only need an internet-connected device linked to the sound system in your gym. Music can be played from a computer, tablet or mobile phone using the FreeMusix web player or the Android and iOS apps.
The device can be connected to the speakers by cable or Bluetooth. For fixed installations and extended periods of daily playback, we recommend using a wired connection whenever possible, as it generally provides greater stability.
The service operates through streaming and provides access to Electronic, energetic Pop, Dance, House, Urban, workout beats and other selections suited to cardio, strength training and functional training areas.
You will also find softer options for reception areas, changing rooms, stretching spaces, communal zones and wellness facilities. Channels can be changed throughout the day to adapt the atmosphere to the pace and member profile of the centre.
For instructor-led classes, choreographed activities or sessions requiring a specific musical structure, the facility should check in advance that the selected channel is suitable for the format and timing of the activity.
Certificate and documentation for gyms
When you subscribe to FreeMusix for your gym or sports centre, you will be able to access the Certificate and supporting documentation associated with the service and the use of the music catalogue included on the platform from your Customer Area.
The Certificate may include information relating to the premises, such as the address, declared floor area and the service start date.
The Certificate and supporting documentation will be available in your Customer Area once the paid subscription is active. They will not be available during the 14-day free trial unless you expressly request immediate activation by email and waive the free trial period.
The FreeMusix catalogue consists of licensed content integrated into a professional background music solution for gyms, sports centres, fitness studios, functional training facilities and fitness chains.
The Certificate and supporting documentation apply exclusively to the FreeMusix catalogue, the locations included in the contracted service and the conditions of the active plan. Music from Spotify, YouTube, radio stations or other external sources falls outside the scope of the service.
Coverage across several gyms, locations, zones or simultaneous playback systems will depend on the plan or tailored proposal contracted.

- Yes. FreeMusix can be used in gyms, fitness studios, personal training centres, strength-training facilities, functional training spaces and other sports environments.
- The volume should be sufficient to accompany the activity without making staff instructions or conversations difficult to hear. It should be adjusted according to the floor area, acoustics, number of members, type of activity and proximity of the speakers.
- No specialist equipment is normally required. You can use a computer, tablet or mobile phone connected to the gym’s speakers or amplifier. For continuous use, we recommend a dedicated device, a stable internet connection and, whenever possible, a wired audio connection.

- No. The Certificate and supporting documentation apply exclusively to the music catalogue supplied by FreeMusix. Music, radio stations and playlists from other platforms fall outside the scope of the service.
- FreeMusix provides access to its catalogue and the documentation associated with the contracted service. However, requirements may vary by country, jurisdiction, type of premises and manner of use. Additional obligations may apply in relation to local collecting societies, authorities or other organisations. We recommend checking the requirements applicable in each territory.
- Not automatically. Each gym, location or playback point must be included in the contracted plan or tailored proposal. We can prepare a combined solution for fitness chains, franchises and multi-site organisations.
- For chains, franchises and multi-site projects, we can assess a music programme adapted to the brand identity, member profile, different areas of the facility and periods of the day.
- The price depends on the floor area of the premises. Annual plans start at €42 plus VAT for facilities of up to 50 m². For several locations, large sports centres or fitness chains, we can prepare a tailored proposal.
- You can provide the Certificate and supporting documentation available in your Customer Area, together with the invoice for the active plan. The information should correspond to the gym, location and conditions included in the contracted service.
